Announcement of Update to LINE Transparency Report (January-June 2020)

LINE Corporation has updated its "LINE Transparency Report" today. The "User Information Disclosure/Deletion Requests From Law Enforcement" section provides information about the number of user data requests we received from law enforcement, as well as the number of cases in which we disclosed information in response to such requests, for the period between　January-June 2020. In addition, the "LINE Encryption Report" describes the type, scope, and deployment status of the encryption mechanisms integrated into each of LINE's main features. Both　reports are issued regularly: the "User Information Disclosure/Deletion Requests From Law Enforcement" report since the Jul-Dec 2016 edition and the "LINE Encryption Report" since the 2017 edition.
