SEONGNAM, South Korea – May 17, 2022 – LINE NEXT Inc., LINE’s venture dedicated to developing and expanding the global NFT ecosystem, today released DOSI Wallet, a specialized wallet for the global NFT platform DOSI.
DOSI Wallet is a “social passport” wallet that will provide not only payment and trading services, but also a variety of other NFT experiences and social features within the DOSI ecosystem (the transaction and payment function will be activated when DOSI launches in the first half of the year). In addition, to make NFT trading easier, DOSI Wallet will offer a range of user-friendly payment methods, including credit cards, digital payments like LINE Pay and Naver Pay, and cryptocurrencies. Users can sign up easily for DOSI Wallet and log in using all sorts of social media accounts, including LINE, Facebook, and Google, on its official website (https://dosi.world).
With the launch, the Korean theme park Lotte World Adventure Busan is holding an NFT airdrop event for DOSI Wallet. To celebrate its grand opening on March 31, Lotte World Adventure Busan published a limited number of NFTs. The limited NFTs of four short videos, featuring the Lotte World characters Lotty and Rory, will be given to selected users through DOSI Wallet.
“DOSI Wallet will be the center of the global NFT publishing platform DOSI,” said Youngsu Ko, CEO of LINE NEXT. “We will add more features so that new users to NFT can easily participate.”
The DOSI NFT platform is designed to support companies and creators as they build markets and create communities for general users to buy and trade NFTs. In addition, LINE Xenesis, the LINE subsidiary that operates LINE's cryptocurrency and blockchain-related businesses in Japan, is now operating the NFT marketplace LINE NFT, which opened on April 13.
