With Google Assistant, LINE’s Android users can now send LINE messages to friends via voice and ask Google Assistant to read incoming messages. Sending LINE messages using Google Assistant is only possible for 1:1 chats and is limited to texts. LINE currently supports Google Assistant in English and Japanese.

Using LINE with Google Assistant is simple. If you want to send a message, open Google Assistant on your smartphone and say “Hey Google, send a LINE message to ○○.” If you want to check a message, you can say “Hey Google, read my LINE messages.” Users can enjoy a more convenient way of using LINE hands-free on their smartphones while driving, cooking, babysitting and doing other activities. In addition, LINE plans to add more features in the future.

With the mission of bringing people, information and services closer together, LINE provides communication and information services optimized for people’s everyday lives.
