TOKYO – April 4, 2018 - “LINE Torocco Wars,” a real-time loot battle game and the first title to be released jointly by LINE Corporation and Asobism Co., Ltd., launches today.

In LINE Torocco Wars, three teams ride along in their respective mine carts as they battle it out for possession of a single treasure chest in a real-time scramble for the goal. Achieving over one million pre-registrants since pre-registrations were opened up on March 1, 2018, this highly anticipated game launches today.

 

As a reward for reaching one million pre-registrants, players who download LINE Torocco Wars by May 7, 2018 and complete the player registration will all receive a gift of 10,000 Gold and two special Avatars (Abel & Marin).

Note: Players will only be able to collect their items for 30 days after they have been granted. 

 

Earn Gold with login bonuses! First Battle Campaign coming soon!

LINE Torocco Wars will soon host the First Battle Campaign. Players are encouraged to get their hands on their favorite hunters and level them up before the campaign begins. Details on the First Battle Campaign can be found in the in-game news.

 

Players can earn up to 10,000 Gold as a login bonus for logging in for 15 days. Further useful rewards will also be available for continuing to log in after 15 days, to help players along.

What is LINE Torocco Wars?

LINE Torocco Wars is a game where three teams ride along in mine carts, fighting for possession of a single treasure chest in a real-time scramble for the goal. Each mine cart holds four hunters, two of which are controlled by a single player. Players can race AI-controlled enemies called the Yamiyami, play together with another player aboard a single mine cart, or compete against other players in versus mode.

 

The keys to victory lie in team composition (taking into account the various hunter types and their attributes) and smart use of battle commands, from the range of standard commands to unique commands that trigger special effects. Up to six players can join versus mode. Accurate communication and team tactics are sure to bring on some epic battles, as players experience the thrill of races with two players riding together in a mine cart that can’t be experienced anywhere else.
