● Special events celebrating four years of LINE Rangers begin today

Tokyo – March 1, 2018 – LINE Rangers, a tower defense game released by LINE Corporation for iPhone and Android devices, is holding a series of special events to celebrate its fourth anniversary.
February 28, 2018 marked the four-year anniversary of the launch of LINE Rangers. Since going live, a total of 264,354,320,210 (or approximately 264 billion) Rangers have been dispatched, and the game has been played for a combined total of 522,484,309,042 seconds (or approximately 16,567 years).
On this special occasion, many commemorative events will take place as a gesture to give back to dedicated fans of the game, including anniversary event missions, and distribution of a limited-edition animated LINE sticker set. With its achievement of 50 million cumulative worldwide downloads being moments away, LINE Rangers will continue to evolve to please fans in Asia and around the world.
Take part in anniversary mission events to get special rewards
As part of the festivities, special mission events will take place in which players receive the "Hyper Evolved Ranger Chest," "4th Anniversary Special Gacha Tickets" to win anniversary Rangers, and other special in-game items. To participate, players enter the event from within the LINE Rangers game, and must collect points by clearing missions specified in the special anniversary page.
Missions consist of two types: Individual Missions in which players collect points individually, and Joint Missions where players from around the world work together to collectively earn points. With "Special Gacha Tickets" obtainable through Joint Missions, players get a chance to win Guan Yu of the 3 Kingdoms—an exclusive fourth anniversary Ranger—and his gear. Players are encouraged to work together to jointly win these special tickets.

Rangers join in the celebration as animated stickers
For a limited time starting March 6, a special set of 16 animated LINE stickers celebrating four years of LINE Rangers will be distributed for free. These cute stickers will feature Choco as well as LINE characters dressed up as Rangers.

Promotional anniversary video released
A promotional video to celebrate LINE Rangers' fourth anniversary has been launched for the world to see, and can be viewed within the app. By sharing this video with LINE friends, Twitter followers, and Facebook friends, users can collectively earn Joint Mission points. Don't miss this commemorative video featuring LINE Rangers players from four Asian countries.
