TAIPEI – December 28, 2017 – LINE Biz+ Taiwan Limited, the operator of LINE Pay in Taiwan, announced that it will invest in, and become a major shareholder of, iPASS Corporation. Through this investment, LINE Pay will extend its business to the electronic payment service and aims to speed up the development of related services in 2018.

LINE Pay has invested in iPASS Corporation – the only company in Taiwan to obtain licenses for both electronic stored value cards and electronic payments – in order to provide continuous service optimization and diversified payment solutions.
