LINE and Intelligence Holdings have announced the formation of a joint-venture partnership focused on the creation of a new company, AUBE (pronounced “orb”), through the combined capital of both parties. This company will provide a brand new service, LINE Part Time Job, offering customers information on part-time job listings, job announcements, and more.
LINE Part Time Job is the first ever part-time job information service offered by LINE. This partnership aims to capitalize on the extensive knowledge base and experience within the job listing and announcement sector held by the Intelligence Holdings Group, which operates the “an” and DODA services and also offers support for corporate hires, and LINE’s service and operational know-how, along with its massive user base, to create an all-new service able to match job seekers with hiring companies in ways never seen before.
There is a large amount of overlap and affinity between users of the “an” service and LINE. Thus, this joint-venture partnership was created to combine the aspirations of Intelligence, which is focused on expanding its share of the smartphone job listing market, and LINE, which aims to provide users with new value by expanding its content offerings. The service is planned for launch in mid-February. Further details on the new company and service will be announced in the near future.
Through the establishment of this new company, both Intelligence and LINE aim to provide a new part-time job listing platform for the smartphone age in order to create new contacts between job seekers and hiring companies, and to accelerate the growth of the domestic part-time job market.
