Match Dolls as Quickly as Possible to Clear New Missions Every Stage!

 

Tokyo, Japan – August 12, 2015 – LINE Corporation, owner and operator of the free call and messaging app LINE, has announced the release of “LINE TOYS,” a new side-to-side sliding puzzle game available for free on both iPhone and Android devices, through its gaming platform LINE GAME.

 

LINE TOYS pits players in a battle to move rows of LINE character dolls left and right to create matches. Users line up three or more in a row to make the dolls disappear in this revolutionary side-sliding puzzler. The game features a variety of missions that challenge players with a new puzzle every stage, as well as a number of other gameplay options and surprises that grow in grandeur as the game progresses. This extra dimension of gameplay offers a fun and entertaining experience as players match up dolls to the rhythm of the background music.

 

Users move around Brown, Cony, Sally and other LINE Friends which appear on the screen in order to line up three or more of the same character in a horizontal row, making them disappear. The player’s score increases based on the number of dolls destroyed. Matching four or more dolls in one move generates a bomb. The more characters matched at once, the greater the bomb’s explosive power becomes, destroying more dolls in a larger radius. TOYS also features a fever mode triggered by destroying a certain number of dolls. Fever mode offers players a chance to earn more points.

 

In addition to mission stages that require players to earn a certain score within a set time period or eliminate specific characters, TOYS features a total of seven types of stages, including boss stages that pit players against foes and score run stages that force players to battle their LINE friends in a race for the top score. At the time of its release, LINE TOYS offers 150 exciting stages for players to enjoy. The game also gives users access to over 40 different characters each with a unique skill, such as the ability to eliminate dolls by bombarding them with fish, or clear an entire row by running over it in a sports car. Finding different ways to take advantage of these characters' unique skills to clear missions adds a deeper level of strategy and fun to the game.
