LINE株式会社（本社：東京都渋谷区、代表取締役社長：森川 亮）は、8月21日（水）に、舞浜アンフィシアター（千葉県浦安市）において、当社が運営する無料通話・無料メールアプリ『LINE（ライン）』の最新の利用状況や、プラットフォーム戦略の成果および今後の展開について発表する「Hello, Friends in Tokyo 2013」を開催致します。

『LINE』は2011年6月23日のサービス公開以来、ユーザー数が2013年7月11日時点で1億9千万人を突破、国内外のみならず世界約230ヶ国で広く利用されています。昨年開催した「Hello, Friends in Tokyo 2012」（ http://line.naver.jp/2012/ ）に引き続き、今年で2回目を迎える本カンファレンスは、会場も内容もさらに規模を拡大し、LINE事業に関する最新の情報や、今後の展開について発表予定です。

Tokyo, Japan – July 16, 2013 – LINE Corporation, owners and operators of the free calling and messaging app, “LINE”, announced that it will be holding an event entitled “Hello, Friends in Tokyo 2013” on August 21 (Wed) at MAIHAMA Amphi Theater, located in Urayasu City, Japan. The latest usage statistics of LINE, outcome of the company’s platformization strategy, and plans for its future development will be announced at this event.

Since its launch on June 23, 2011, LINE has achieved 190 million users worldwide (as of July 11, 2013), and the communication app remains widely used throughout Japan and in over 230 other countries. In succession to the “Hello, Friends in Tokyo 2012” ( http://line.naver.jp/2012/ ) conference held last year, this year’s event will be of a larger scale and be held at the prestigious MAIHAMA venue.
