TOKYO – October 6, 2021 – LINE Corporation ("LINE") is holding its annual tech conference again. This year, LINE DEVELOPER DAY 2021 will be held over two days from November 10 to 11.

Since 2014, LINE DEVELOPER DAY has been the place for LINE to share with engineers the different challenges and projects it has taken on in technical fields for its wide range of services. Last year, the conference was moved online for the first time following concerns over the COVID-19 outbreak. It offered over 150 sessions over three days and attracted more than 15,000 people from mainly Japan and other parts of Asia.

This year, the conference will once again be a virtual event based on the current COVID-19 situation. All sessions will be streamed online and interpreted in Japanese, English and Korean. The conference will kick off with CTO and Director Euivin Park's keynote speech on the company's technology strategy and vision, outlining current and future initiatives to solve problems amid changes in internal/external environments and businesses. This will be followed by approximately 60 carefully chosen sessions on topics such as challenges experienced and knowledge gained in AI, data, machine learning, infrastructure, server-side, and the iOS/Android operating systems, as well as cutting-edge technology currently used by LINE.
