LINE and Intertrust to Jointly Host ‘LINE and Intertrust Security Summit’ Conference on Application Security

TOKYO – March 24, 2017 – LINE Corporation announced today that it will team up with Intertrust Technologies Corporation to jointly host the LINE and Intertrust Security Summit, a two-part conference dedicated to enhancing application security and data privacy.
The first summit – “LINE and Intertrust Security Summit: Spring 2017 Tokyo” – will be held in Tokyo (at LINE Corporation ) on May 17, 2017. The second summit will be held in Silicon Valley in autumn this year, at a to-be-announced date.
Under the theme “Exploring Technologies for Trusted Apps and Services,” this conference will bring together scientists and thought leaders to discuss cutting-edge research, technology trends and real world case studies relating to security and privacy protection for mobile and the Internet of Things (IoT). Both companies recognize that ensuring trust for endpoints and services is essential for the development of infrastructure that uses AI, IoT, and robotics technologies. This conference aims to provide a venue for sharing and discussing the most recent trends in these areas.
