■Our team
We have a member (or hiring a team member) in every country we are working in and we work with other teams across the globe. We are at the early stages of establishing our organization which gives you a great opportunity to shape the team, what we do and how we work. 

■Responsibilities
・Collaborates effectively with peers and leadership across Japan and the global organization (in multiple
countries) to track and manage data related risks and issues to positive resolution
・Develops structured and systematic ways of collecting, classifying and analyzing issues related to data
・Collaborates with other team members and leadership across various companies to improve or create
data-related policies and processes, tracks adherence to these policies and processes and communicates
effectively where there are issues to reach a solution
・Defines and manages data related projects with clear timelines across global offices and Japanese entities
of Line Corp
・Extracts and organizes insights in a visual and concise way that can be communicated to a wide variety of
audiences from engineering teams to C-level executives
・Creates effective communication and collaboration mechanisms such as meetings, brain storming
sessions, interviews and workshops and creates related artifacts (meeting notes, wiki articles, workshop
slides, background documents, emails, newsletters etc) to act as a bridge between various teams across
multiple entities within Line Corp
・Sets up and manages effective meetings with clear agendas, goals, attendee list and follows through with
meeting notes
・Creates data driven models to calculate ROI, business value for our data related investments and
assessment of operational efficiency for our processes
・Creates and makes available education curriculum and content in collaboration with related teams across
Line Corp
・Helps define, implement and track the metrics for Global Data Management program for global entities
・Stays abreast of data related policies, legislation and technical advancements around privacy in Japan and
in competitive circles around the globe
・Helps the CDO of Global Offices with the creation of executive presentations and other content to
showcase our work and results

You will be working with both international team members in other countries where LINE operates and with Japanese teams to solve problems related to data in a highly versatile way interacting with all types of teams from technical to partnership, process or legal and privacy matters. You will be working on high priority projects that C-level executives care about and get to present your work directly in some cases. 

■How existing members work
Right now we meet twice a week - once for 1-1s and once for team meeting. Although every one has different projects, there are also joint projects where people collaborate with others. Also we create and manage Task Forces with team members from different countries and different organizations. We are flexible but also well coordinated. 

■Technical Stack 
It is beneficial for the candidate to know data and analytics concepts, Machine Learning, Business Intelligence (dashboard creation with Tableau etc), fundamentals of data storage
For day to day work, we use Slack, Power Point, Excel, Trello, LINE proprietary email and other collaboration tools such as Wikis
応募資格 / Qualifications
■Required Experience
・Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and English
Near Native level Japanese (writing, reading and speaking)
Business level English (writing, reading and speaking)
・High level of proficiency in visual communication tools and creation of artifacts such as slide decks, documents, wikis, logs, etc
・Affinity to data collection, manipulation and analysis is highly desirable
・Past data governance and management experience highly desirable
・Evidence of seeing projects to completion, issues to resolution in past jobs

■ Preferred experience and skills
・Past management consulting experience desirable
・Knowledge of other languages such as Korean, Mandarin, Thai is a bonus
