SEONGNAM, South Korea – May 10, 2023 – LINE NEXT Inc., LINE’s venture dedicated to developing and expanding the NFT ecosystem, officially launched AVA, an entertainment NFT platform, on May 9. Kicking off the opening, collaborative events with popular K-pop boy groups TREASURE and ATEEZ have also started.
AVA is a Web3-based entertainment NFT service where artists and fans create new value together through NFTs called “Crystals.” Fans can save special moments of their favorite artists as Crystals and become active participants in artists’ activities.
Depending on the tier of Crystals users hold, they will be granted special benefits, such as tickets to watch the artist’s unreleased content and autographed merchandise, as well as the right to directly vote on certain agendas for the artist.
To celebrate the launch of AVA, Crystals featuring various moments of YG Entertainment boy group TREASURE are now available for sale. Users who purchase the TREASURE Crystals will receive such benefits as an autographed photocard and polaroid, and the right to vote on topics for their next short-form video.
A pre-sale event for KQ Entertainment boy group ATEEZ will also be held until May 15. Users who complete the pre-registration missions on the AVA event page can win to receive a free ATEEZ Crystal. The official sale of ATEEZ Crystals will begin on May 16.
LINE NEXT is currently developing two new AVA services, “Marketplace,” where users will be able to trade Crystals, and “Playground,” where fans can communicate with artists and participate in a range of events. Both services will be available on the official AVA website (http://onava.com).
