Tokyo, Japan – February 1, 2016 – LINE Corporation, owner and operator of the free call and messaging app LINE, today announced that Koji Kotaka has been appointed as an external board member. The decision was approved at a special board of director’s meeting on January 27, 2016 and a special shareholders’ meeting on February 1, 2016. Kotaka assumes his new role starting today.
