Brown Dons His Detective Hat to Find the Painting Pieces and Complete the LINE Gallery!
Tokyo, Japan – November 20, 2014 – LINE Corporation, owner and operator of the free call and messaging app LINE, has announced an exciting new puzzle game “LINE TRIO” for its LINE GAME service, to be released for free on both iPhone and Android platforms.
LINE TRIO follows Detective Brown and his assistant Romeo on a journey to gather painting fragments and restore the masterpieces of the LINE Gallery stolen by the devious Phantom Thief X. The popular LINE characters appear alongside Brown in this simple puzzle game enjoyable by beginners and experienced players alike.
Players progress through the stages of the game by moving blocks horizontally or vertically and matching 3 or more blocks of the same character to eliminate them while also clearing mission requirements such as getting a certain amount of points or clearing the stage within a limited number of moves. By using special blocks generated by matching 4 or more blocks and items that can be bought with Coins and Rubies, players can aim for even higher scores. Clearings stages will give players painting fragments, and clearing a whole area will complete one painting.
LINE friend rankings will be displayed for each stage and players can compete to get the highest score for each one.
